$7 Billion Toyota Plant Invests Additional $238M: At 8.1 million SF, Toyota’s Georgetown facility is the largest vehicle assembly plant in Toyota’s global production network and employs over 9,400 people. Recently, the company announced a $238M investment to build two new hybrid models - Lexus (May 2019) and RAV4 (January 2020).

Georgetown’s Expanding Education Network: On top of being home to several highly ranked primary schools and a local college (Georgetown College), Georgetown is opening two new public schools in August 2019:

Fastest Population Growth in the State: Georgetown is the county seat of Scott County, which grew 18.8% from 2010-2018 making it the fastest growing county in the state of Kentucky. This growth is anticipated to continue, with its current population of 56,031 expected to move to 97,745 by 2040.

Major Project Improves Georgetown’s Connectivity: Earlier this year, construction began on a $26.1M project to complete the U.S. 460 bypass in Georgetown, which is expected to improve commuter connectivity within the city. Georgetown also sits near two major interstates I-64 and I-75, which run through major markets Lexington (13 miles), Louisville (70 miles), and Cincinnati (70 miles).

Proximity to Lexington Demand Drivers: Georgetown commuters enjoy a 30 minute commute to Lexington, which is home to a variety of significant demand drivers, including:
